Fixing engines, debugging software, and now zapping tumors - I clearly missed the memo on sticking to one career. My journey began as a Marine Engineer, navigating international waters and multicultural teams. I moved into Healthcare and Finance software, where I built intelligent systems to detect fraud. Seeking a deeper impact, I pursued an MD to merge my expertise in AI with medical knowledge. Now, as I train to become a Radiation Oncologist, my goal is to harness this unique combination to improve patient outcomes and push the boundaries of medicine through technology.
Recently, I had the opportunity to co-author a book chapter on AI and Immunotherapy in Cancer Treatment - a project that perfectly blended my two favorite nerdy worlds. Read it on Springer Nature
When I’m not working, I train for Ironman and marathons. I also hold a private pilot’s license - because why not throw flying into the mix?
